This is probably what I was thinking of.

Too bad. I've been there four times; twice for three days and once for two (
once for just a part of a day) and never had a problem filling up the time.
Of course one of those times I visited Phantom Ranch, which used two of the
three days. There are many wonderful ranger programs, there is the Grand
Canyon village area hike (which is lovely, and, I think at least part of this
is paved and accessible). There is just sitting and looking.
