I know someone in that precise situation. I used to work with him,
before I retired, at a large corporation with excellent medical
coverage. The work was fine and the supervision was bearable.
Then management changed and supervision became awful. However, my friend
can't consider leaving because both he and his wife have had cancer; his
wife still has it, and her prognosis apparently isn't good. They have
two pretty small children. He HAS to stay on until retirement or death,
even though the job has in many ways become intolerable.
And this is supposed to be a better situation than in Canada? HA! |
