Well- no, it's not cheaper to rent places on the hills. First of all,
the word "cheap" doesn't belong in the same sentence as rent (or buy)
regarding San Francisco. We're consistently the top in cost of loiving
in the US- and rent is one of the primary reasons.

But secondly, the hills are prestige- better views- and are more highly
desireable and cost a LOT more!
