Best, given your tastes, to get a hotel in
the Bloor-Avenue Rd area.

You're close to the museum and the UT campus,
plus all sorts of restaurants & shopping.

From there, if you feel energetic, you can combine
a walk to China Town/Kensington Market and the
Art Gallery, or take a short public trans ride
from Bloor to Dundas.

You can also take a longer ride down to the
Theatre District/Lakeshore.
