A cotton sarong - even if I'm going nowhere near a beach. In a
addition to its normal use as a beach wrap or skirt it's done duty as:-
a towel, a bedsheet, a curtain, a windbreak, a groundsheet, a cushion,
a tablecloth, a dressing gown, an anti-pickpocketing device, a
sunshade, a shawl, a personal cooling system, a bag, a
door/window/rucksack tether, a beer cooler, a draught excluder and
raincoat. But it wasn't very effective as a raincoat.
