Radar detectors are legal in BC, Alberta, and Saskatchewan.

Much of BC's two-lane highways are posted at 100km/hr (60mph), while
the Coquihalla is posted at 110km/hr (66 mph).

If you go 10 km/hr over the posted limit you won't be bothered.

Roadside radar is laser, while in-vehicle radar is probably either X or
K band.
