I carry foam earplug always in my toiletry kit. I never know when there will
be just too much noise. I remember once getting a hotel room in New Orleans
right on Canal street and being very thankful for the earplugs due to the
noise of stuff in the street. Same on a busy street in Paris.

You just never know.
