Rita, Mark, Brian, Pan,
Thank you for all your very helpful posts.
As some of you have said, taking the subway is an option for someone who
knows where he/she is going. For a first-time in N.Y traveler I think we'll
take the taxi.
As Rita said, most of the trip is done on expressways (I have seen it in
Google Maps) but I am determined to take the taxi. Even more if two of the
three travelers are girls.
About the money-saving issue that Pam comments, that is because we prefer to
spend our money in something that it is worth, instead of spending it in
thinks that does not deserve it.
For instance, we prefer to be in a cheap but clean hotel and spend the saved
money in two, instead of one, theatre plays or going out at night, shopping,
and so on.
About what we were talking about, dinning out. I have been told that a
spectalular restaurant is located on top of the Marriott Hotel that turns
and you can see the city at night from above. Is that right? Is it worth?
Would you suggest other places to have lunch or dinner with good views or
with any other kind of interest?
Another nice place is the Hard Rock Cafe, under the Brooklin Bridge, isn't
it?
Once again, thank you. I'll keep posting questions.
