It is best to start in Anaheim (DisleyLand and, about five miles away,
Knott's Berry Farm [better in my book]), then up to Valencia for Magic
Mountain. Then a few miles back to Highway 14 that will take you
directly to Highway 395 (don't miss the airplanes in Mojave) that will
take you to Mono Lake (visit Bodie if it's open). A few miles back is
the road to Yosemite via the Tioga Pass (closed for much of the year),
thence to San Francisco where
you'll find the Cabrillo Highway (1) to Los Angeles. En route, don't
miss the outstanding Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz.

That is not San Franciscowrite.

No such place. There is, however, a Saint Francis Fountain on
Twenty-fourth Street.

No district anywhere is Hispanic.

Mission Boulevard is in Hayward, farther than thirty miles from The
Mission District.

Marin, its headlands, and Sausalito are neither in San Francisco nor on
the way to Los Angeles.
