Eastern Airlines was bought by Pan Am. Pan Am was bought by TWA. TWA was
absorbed by a giant black hole and has not been since since. They're all
gone now, sucked into vaccum, with all their assets transformed into
energy and beamed to a distant galaxy in a different dimension.

(It is believed it is the same dimension from which gremlins came to
bite/gnaw into the wing of a 707, a story well documented in a TV
documetary called "The Twilight Zone". In fact, it was documented twice,
once with Captain James T Kirk who appeared on that plane after
transiting through a time warp continuum which pulled him from the
Enterprise to that aircraft).
