Subject: Visiting Concord, New Hampshire. Why? Posted on: Thu, 22 Sep 2005 20:09:22 +0000 (UTC)

Hi,

May sound silly, but we have decided to take a weekend trip "up north"
and are looking for a new place we haven't been. Sadly, we don't know
much about the New England states and want to go somewhere within a few
hours drive. We hope to be somewhere in Vermont or New Hampshire.

When searching for hotels in those two states, we discovered a good
number of them in Concord, New Hampshire. It also seemed that Concord
was perhaps a place to swing through and spend the night.

Of course, the question is... is there ANYTHING to do in Concord, New
Hampshire? Scenery? Local areas of interest?

Any comments on the Concord area or any suggestions of other cities or
towns in Vermond or New Hampshire worth a weekend trip to?
