It's a small town airport like every other small town airport in the country.
Great for private planes and not worth the trouble for anything else. You
can take a van ride and be in albuquerque in about the same time it'll take
to board, taxi around, take off, land, and taxi back. Being able to fly in
20 minutes vs. a 60 minute drive doesn't mean much when there's 45 minutes of
landing/takeoff overhead.
