I recently visited my daughter, who lives in Harlem. I saw a lot of
interesting old houses in her neighborhood, including the Alexander
Hamilton house and the Bailey mansion, he of Barnum and Bailey. Also
some of the nicest tree-lined brownstone blocks that I've seen
anywhere in New York. These brownstones are selling for millions of
dollars. I saw that Sotheby was the agent on one of the "For Sale"
signs. I don't think Sotheby deals in slum properties.
