Although I've not visited the O'Farrell Theater, I very much doubt that
your description of what transpires there is accurate. Yes, there are
. shows but I believe they're presented by the entertainers not
inviting the patrons to participate. Lap dancing is common in so-called
strip clubs here and elsewhere.
A few years ago, patrons from a NewsGroup invaded another NewsGroup.
They were so shocked that we accepted them and unjudgmentally discussed
their views that they tired of us and went away.
You did not mention the fine mural that graces the building. It is
worth a look-see by anyone who enjoys public art.
