I can't speak for the rest of the United States, but, last April I stayed by
myself for 2 weeks in a bed and breakfast in New Orleans and don't recall
having to pay any extra. Since most bed and breakfast establishiments are
privately owned, I suppose each sets its own guidelines. KM
