I've experienced a wide range of service. Since this is the usa-caada
group, my experience in Beijing, Hong Kong, Bangkok, etc isn't all that
relevent, but US hotels are generally much faster than those I've tried
in Asia. In the US and Canada most of the time the speed is good enough
for anything except downloading video.

What I HAVE experienced is amazingly wide range of prices, from $11 a
day at many places to $10 a stay or week to free at a few.

And when it doesn't work, which happens more often than it should, the
only fix is to change rooms.
