We went on a family vacation with toddlers at Paradise Point resort in San
Diego. The toddlers liked the pools and the beach, older kids liked
sailing, there was mini golf and tennis, but it was pricy.
When I was a child we went to Lake Almanor, way north in California. The
lake had a beach, there was fishing and water skiing, tennis, golf, lots of
stuff to do. Lake Almanor might be tough to get to (we drove) but are there
lake resorts closer to you? Lake Tahoe might be fun.
