I've only had one bad experience: the Allegro in Chicago. Appallingly
slow --dial-up-type speed over wifi.

Everything else in the last year or two (Courtyards, Mariott, Ramada,
Comfort, Doubletree) whether wired or wifi has been completely acceptable,
although the Doubletree signal in Lake Buena Vista was faint in remote parts
of the top-floor room (unusable in the bed; o.k. at the desk; solid and
strong downstairs in the lobby).
