Does anyone read the posts? The OP wants to go from Spokane to Calgary,
not from Vancouver.

BTW, I haven't done that route, but from Calgary to Rossland, and it was
clear. i found that only high passes had snow, valleys were quite bare,
as you are in rain shadow so tends to be dry.
