Not if you have just returned from the air flight from hell. ;-)
While the charter of this newsgroup says no advertising, it is an
unmoderated group. There are no net police to boot the rascals out.
However if you isp doesn't provide the service, your newsreader probably
has some message filtering that you can train to ignore or killfile the
posts. I'm on earthlink and they have very good spam filtering. What
sneaks through I filter using Mozilla Thunderbird. Be it an ad, or a
troll I don't get bothered by 'em because I killfile them. 8-)
