Subject: Pass-a-Grill Beach hotel questions Posted on: Sun, 27 Nov 2005 05:59:58 +0000 (UTC)

My wife and I are planning a 3-4 night trip to Clearwater in Florida
between Christmas and new years.
We are looking for something quiet, beach front, elegant, quiet with
private balcony that we can enjoy the sunset and the gulf view (the
more luxurious the better). We don't like big hotels or resorts. We
like the smaller, more private and secluded, hotels.
We are looking at the Pass-a-Grill beach community.
The community looks quiet and friendly...
The hotels are the right size but it's not clear to me if there is an
upscale hotel (B&B) in the area or not.
The main concern is that none of the hotels is on the beach. There is
a road between the hotels and the ocean. How busy does this road get?
The last thing we want to hear during our needed vacation is traffic!!!
Any specific hotel recommendations or experience will be very helpful.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find lot of info on the
Pass-a-Grill beach in this group.
Thank you
Bill
