Some airlines watch for back to backs and if they spot someone
doing that may refuse to carry them. This is not illegal per se
but is a breach of contract. Note that if you do not travel on
the oubound leg of a return the return half is automatically cancelled

Dont bother, you'll be fine, the airlines cant force you to fly when you
