It will be chilly up at the Grand Canyon in December, though it is an
awesome sight. If you got time, consider the Sagaro region south of Phoenix
with its lovely large cactus. I was very impressed with the large cactus
back in 2002 when I briefly went through the Tuscon area. May be a bit
warmer in south Arizona also in December.
