The Grand Wailea is a bit of a zoo & very overpriced for what the rooms
are. Check out the Kea Lani - right up the beach - all 2 room suites,
large bathrooms roomy verandas/balconies - you could probably get 4 in
a room if you don't mind sharing the (very large) bath. The living
room has a pull-out sofa bed. TV's in both rooms, stereos/DVD players,
etc. Lovely grounds with an adult pool that's well separate from the 2
attached by a slide (albeit much shorter than the GW's) & a swim-up
bar. Complimentary limo service & much better restaurants than the GW.
The Ciao Cafe has great items to make picnics with. All rooms have a
fridge & microwave, so you can save $$ stocking up at the local
supermarket.
Do enjoy at least 1 spa treatment at the GW, though - one of the most
incredible spas in the world!
