I really can't see any point in using a "middleman" for this very simple
transaction, particularly since the Canadian refund form is available
online together with all information needed to get the refund directly
from the Canadian government. And according to another poster, the check
for the refund would be in euros if the requester's address suggested
that. (Mine always come in US dollars, very conveniently.)
Middlemen ALWAYS take a cut. There's no free lunch!
Problems/fees in Europe for cashing or depositing the check? Can't say,
from my place in the US. But as you said, something back is better than
nothing - and more is better than less, which is what you get using a
middleman. |
