Hello,
My husband and I are planning to visit the Outer Banks of NC in July.
Since we have never been to the Outer Banks I am looking for advice on
where to stay.
We are looking for a quiet beach. One that we can sit and read, enjoy
the ocean, and get some sun. We would prefer to stay in an area that
has some nice places to eat and that may not be too far from some
shopping.
Any advice from those who have experienced this area would be greatly
appreciated. My research so far has directed me to Duck. However, I
have read some things about the traffic getting to and from Duck and
this concerns me. Any clarification on this topic would also be
appreciated.
Lastly, besides giving advice about where to stay, maybe some tips on
where to avoid. The highly populated beaches where you sit on top of
other people for example.
