The views from the tram itself are good, but there is nothing of great
interest on Roosevelt Island (the most interesting thing would be the
view of Midtown from the river shore). I don't think you'll find any
cafes with great views there; if you want that, go to the River Cafe
near the underpass of the Brooklyn Bridge on the Brooklyn side.
