A few questions first:
What's the reason for the trip ? Are you coming mainly to see the
foliage ? (since you allow only one day in Boston ?)
The nine days - includes returning to NYC to drop off car / continue
your trip ? Or can you end up in Nh/ Vermont etc ? Trying to see as much
as you can ? Or you want to take it easy ?
