great for families, but no outdoor pool, just an indoor one.. this is more
of a "motel" than a hotel though. Has pretty good food.
For 5* service try http://www.thewentworth.com/ It is an historic inn that
includes a full breakfast and 4 or 5 course dinner that is amazing.
You have a shot at staying in the White Mountains for this summer, but you
will be hard pressed to get anything remarkable in Acadia, P town or
Nantucket at this late date. At best you will be in a strip motel away from
the water, unless you can luck out with a cancellation.
