First of all, there's no problem with the computer, it just makes estimates
easier. The car has a 20 gallon tank and I'd usually go 440 to 500+ miles
on a tank, I don't fill it up until the "distance to empty" meter reads
zero. Now I get about 300-350 miles to the tank and it doesn't take a
computer to figure out that it is a drastic cut in fuel economy from what it
was before. And to add insult to injury, the price of petrol has
skyrocketed. KM
