Nah! Most jurisdictions take weeks to process a delinquent parking
ticket. Hertz will simply pass the fine and late payment fee onto the
OP's credit card and not bat an eye about it. At that point, the fine
becomes the responsibility of the OP to pay, plus the late fee, plus any
fee the credit card company may charge for going over his credit card
limit. At a minimum, the OP should call his credit card company and ask
for a credit line increase. |
