How many "valuables" are you actualy bringing?

If it were me, I would ship my diamonds, furs, etc with a freight
carrier like fed ex if you are so concerned, insure the shit out of it,
and if it is lost, so be it.......

other people I have known have gotten those boxes that they lock at
customs in like newark or one of the major international airports, it
is checked/searched and loaded, there is only 1 key and you have it.
You have to be on an earlier flight than the cargo so you are there
with your key at the next airport.....

it is very expensive, but 100% foolproof........
