That sounds like a good plan. Remember, though, that Bellingham is
about 85 miles north of Seattle and 55 miles south of Vancouver. I'm
sure they have some kind of transortation for you but I can't help here.
I can't help on the Port Hardy part, either. Don't know about bus
transportation on Vancouver Island to Victoria. But I know there is a
ferry from Victoria to Vancouver, I think it is daily. Seeing the
Rockies from Vancouver is a great idea. You would only have to have
reservations for two rental cars - in Skagway and Vancouver, and fly in
and out of Vancouver.
