Note for those who are unfamiliar with Anaheim, California, home of
Disneyland, "The Happiest Place On Earth": that town is now veritably
O-V-E-R-R-U-N -- just swamped -- by law-flouting illegal aliens.
Although the members of the violent gang referred to below are
virtually ALL illegal aliens and the anchor babies of illegal aliens,
note how the corporate media (NBC, in this instance) report doesn't
dare mention it.
It's called LYING BY OMISSION, just as when the Soviet Union's Pravda
newspaper used to do, reporting,
"The Soviet team came in second place today ..."
when the Soviet team lost a match versus an American team.

Gang Injunction Issued In Crack Down On Anaheim Violence
November 17, 2006
Anaheim, Calif. -- The second gang injunction ever issued in Orange
County was signed by a judge Friday as prosecutors work to crack down
on the activities of members of an Anaheim street gang.
The civil order that bans actions not inherently criminal in nature --
such as associating with each other in public and wearing gang attire
-- was served on 77 alleged members and 25 parents of juveniles, as
well as one additional member on behalf of the whole gang, said Susan
Schroeder of the Orange County District Attorney's Office.
A similar injunction, signed in July by Orange County Superior Court
Judge Daniel Didier -- who also signed the Anaheim order -- targeted
some 150 members of a Santa Ana gang, and led to some members being
jailed, Schroeder said.
Each person served with the injunction has been documented as an active
member of the gang through admitting their affiliation, associating
with gang members, dressing in the colors of the gang, sporting gang
tattoos, possessing gang paraphernalia or committing crimes for the
gang, Schroeder said.
The injunction covers 1.63 square miles centered in Anaheim, but also
crossing into Orange and Garden Grove. The so-called Safety Zone, which
is not far from Disneyland, consists of the residential
Wakefield/Leatrice neighborhood and Ponderosa Park, which includes a
community center that has meetings rooms, offices and a playground for
children, Schroeder said.
In an interview with the District Attorney's Office, one resident of
the area said violence is a regular problem.
"I heard from my neighbors, one of them (was) hit on the head with a
hammer when they tried to take his bicycle away," the man said. "And
when he tried to fight it, he was hit with a hammer on the head."
"That's not a way of living, you can't," he said. "I mean you have to
basically be inside your apartment because if you go out, you don't
know what's going to happen. There's guys (who) think they're bad. They
think they can handle anything."
At a news conference announcing the injunction, District Attorney Tony
Rackauckas said: "Those streets don't belong to any gangs."
Between January 2005 and April 2006, criminal activity within the zone
included a murder, an attempted murder, a ., 17 firearm violations,
25 assaults, six robberies, 12 stolen vehicles, seven narcotic related
incidents, three trespasses, 40 graffiti crimes, 58 disturbing the
peace incidents, three burglaries, 23 loitering calls, two witness
intimidations and eight shootings, Schroeder said.
Rackauckas said that one father living in the targeted area reported
that his son is afraid to play outside.
"When that little boy hears gun shots, from his bedroom, his first
reaction is to duck," Rackauckas said. "No one should have to live with
the fear that a bullet might come through the window or the wall at any
moment."
One resident, Rackauckas said, "was told by gang members that they
decide who lives and dies."
"Some residents spend hours painting and repainting over graffiti,
which is used by the gang as a method to intimidate residents and rival
gangs," Rackauckas said. "Some don't dare paint over it, knowing that
graffiti is often written as a threat to the police or residents that
speak out against the gang."
The injunction issued in July covering a portion of Santa Ana resulted
in a 46 percent decrease in crime in four months, compared to the prior
four- month period, Schroeder said.
Since the signing of the injunction, 12 gang members have been arrested
for violating its terms. Ten are being prosecuted and two have received
jail time, Schroeder said.
The terms of the Anaheim gang injunction do not restrict association
activity indoors, but actions in the public or public view. Those are
standing together, walking, driving, bicycling or gathering.
It also bans intimidation, use of drugs and alcohol in public or
possession of guns or dangerous weapons.
There are restrictions against fighting, trespassing, blocking free
passage, graffiti, vandalism, gang hand signs, gang clothes, burglary
tools and littering, and defendants must obey curfew and all laws,
Schroeder said.
