Go wander around downtown Scottsdale or the University of Arizona campus at
Tempe.

Visit Rawhide or have lunch/dinner at Pinnacle Peak near Carefree.

Take a drive through the south mountains.

Visit one of the many stables in the outlying areas and go on a desert ride.

Take a hike up Squaw Peak (I think they recently changed the name of this
park).
