9/11 notwithstanding, I think that there is still a left-luggage place
at one of the terminals. Look up the NYC port authority internet
site for NYC airports. Going into Manhatten by bus will take a
long time. Consider using the JFK- Air Train to reach a subway
station, a taxi or the shuttle that stops at Grand Central Terminal.
