This makes some sense. On the other hand, when I show up at hotels
with no reservation (and I do a lot of traveling and hotel stays,
so it's a mix of both), many never ask how many people will be in
the room. And since many of them are chains whose websites *do*
ask... well... I wonder if the individual hotels keep track at all.
