I ALSO now avoid hotels.com.

Here in Canada they have a hotels.ca where the listed the prices are in
Canadian dollars. When my daughter booked a hotel IN Canada
specifically listed as C$ they billed her credit card US$ and at that
time it was a large difference. They were VERY difficult to deal with -
ignored the complaint - hung up on her calls (and she was polite).

BAD COMPANY!!! BAD SERVICE!!!

GOOD LUCK!

My Advice to everyone: AVOID HOTELS.COM
