If someone is familiar with this area and roads can you please let me know
which route is better to take on a late Sat p.m./ early eve in mid May?
We are flying into Tampa and need to go to Cape Coral..
Looking at the map at google earth it seems taking the 75 from the airport
and then crossing over to the Tamiami Trail. Just wondering if that is a
good and fast road like I expect the 75 to be. And how about the # 765
or Burnt store road? In Cape Coral we need to be very south about center.
Can I expect a 2 - 21/2 hour drive??? Any toll roads? possible bridge delays?
On another note, when 1 person want to go water sporting, is the Ft Myers
entertainment book of any value; do not expect to go for dinners. If so,
what value would one use; 5 x 1 water sport like water skiing/ parasailing
etc. expected. No gasoline as we hope to do without a car.
Also looking for bike/ moped/ scooter rental; is that possible there?
And any general info very welcome.
