Hi,
I've been trying to contact websites that give gas and diesel prices
with an idea as to how they should operate their search procedure but
can't get anyone to answer me. This is built around my own
preferences but I can't believe it would be that much different from
other people's needs.
When I travel around home I pretty much know what local prices are but
when I hit the road I know what states I'm going through and what
routes I'm taking (90% interstate highway). I specifically don't know
a whole string of zip codes and I don't need to know the prices in a
20 mile circle. All I need are the prices along the expressway.
Thus, if they would allow you to list states and interstate routes
then I would get a strip of prices along the route. For instance, if
I were going from Syracuse to Cincinnati I could say search on NY-I90,
PA-I90, OH-I90,I71 and the results would show exactly what I need.
Is there something wrong with my logic that would prevent an efficient
computer search or some other fault I haven't seen and is it something
that you would find useful?
I'd be pleased to hear your feedback.
