Is the show the AWFS Fair in July? Keep in mind it will be HOT there
in July. A 1-2 mile walk that is a piece of cake at 70 F will be an
ordeal at 105 F if you aren't accustomed to it. Bring sunscreen, a
hat, and a bottle of water when you leave your hotel. As others have
noted, it takes longer than you might think to get from place to place
on foot in Vegas. When the sun is blazing down on you from above, and
the pavement is radiating heat at you from below, that $20 cab right
might not seem so bad. Enjoy the show.
