Budget accomodations in NYC?!

Well check out "http://www.spanishnewyork.com/hotels-in-manhattan.html"

and "http://www.westsideinn.com/".

The budget places fill up very far in advance, especially with groups.

Just parking your car will cost you at least $30/day.

You might consider staying on Staten Island, and taking the ferry over
each day.

How many of you are there? The hotel rooms in NYC tend to be very small,
often with only one queen or two singles.

As to what to see, a lot depends on what you like to do. The SOL and ESB
are two of the usual tourist attractions. I liked the NY Transit Museum
in Brooklyn. Spend some time in CP, and go to some of the museums. See a
play. See what's playing at Carnegie Hall, often there are concerts
there that are pretty inexpensive.
