Niagara Falls to Omaha in a day would be quite a _banzai_ shot.

When I said I drove Denver to Milwaukee, it was only possible because I
left early and in eastern Colorado and Nebraska the roads were empty,
the speed limit was often 75 and I could set the cruise control to 80
and just 'fly'.

You're never going to be able to do that in the East.
