Hello,

It is time to renew my Canadian passport. Does anyone know if one can
travel across the boarder to Windsor to apply in person at the Passport
Canada office vs. application by mail from the USA. Currently wait times for
passports by mail from the USA are 12 weeks. In person at an office is 2
weeks. I am only about a 4 hour drive from Windsor, so I could go to apply
and pick up the passport at the office. I am unable to get through to the
Passport Canada customer service number to ask this question due to very
high call volume (so high that their call queue is even full).
