Depends on the item and store. Some items (e.g., electronics) are cheaper in
big cities where there is more competition. Some items (e.g., gasoline) are
cheaper in the suburbs where the cost of doing business (mostly rent and
transportation costs) are cheaper. Some items (e.g., clothing) cost more in
richer areas because that is where the money is. Even some department stores
will charge different prices for the same item at different stores for
reasons like the above.
