Hi Rashid -- I live in Atlanta, but I've been to Dallas proper (Fort Worth,
though). That summer is was 107 in Fort Worth, and it rarely breaks 100 in
Atlanta.
It really depends on how you want to live. The northern suburbs are the "in"
place for family living (upper middle class), but intown Atlanta is a lot
more vibrant. The burbs look and act like those of any city, you probably
couldn't tell the difference. The downtown area has really changed in the
past few years -- more poeple living downtown and midtown. But if you like
the mountains, you get there fast from the northern 'burbs.
