Two other possibilities: Holland America Lines does a fall cruise that
coincides with Fall Leaf time. One cruise starts in Boston and goes up
the New England coast stopping in fishing villages and ending up in
Montreal, Canada. All along the way there are excursions for whale
watching or leaf peeping.

An other option on land is a rail tour. I am not 100% that the Acadian
