I met quite a few people who needed very expensive money orders to pay
speeding tickets in New York (or risk having a warrant for their
arrest if they don't pay in 15 days or some such thing... which
basically means they can be arrested when they try and cross the
border again).
If that's what New York does to people from Ontario, chances are
Ontario isn't going to have any sympathy for out of state/out of
country offenders costing our taxpayers' dollars.
It's a parking ticket, how much can that be? (unless you parked in a
handicapped space). For the most part, it's $30, that's two hours wage
for many people... cough it up, and pay attention to where you park.
Think of it this way, your parking ticket is probably barely more than
you'd have paid for a day at a garage. When I take my car to Toronto,
I have to pay, so do you. I've never gotten a parking ticket.
