Whale Watching in Southern California Posted on: Fri, 18 Jan 2008 05:50:18 +0000 (UTC)

I plan to go whale watching in Southern California in mid-February and
I'd like to obtain some advice concerning tour groups that others may
have used. We have time for a day trip and we live near LAX -- that
means we could drive down as far as Newport or up the coast as far as
Oxnard/Ventura. Does anyone have a tour group that they particularly
liked? Is there any difference between the quality of tours near the
Channel Islands compared to the Long Beach area, for example? Any
advice would be greatly appreciated.
