There is more to the Capilano Suspension Bridge than just the bridge. There
is a museum of First Nations artifacts, trails, etc.
The trip up Grouse Mountain will give you a magnificent view of Vancouver
and south to the US border on a sunny day. The trick for the Gondola is to
make a dinner reservation at the Grouse Nest Restaurant and the Gondola ride
is included. If you go early there is a wildlife refuge, where they prepare
wild animals to go back where they belong, not someone's garbage can. There
are nice walks too. I haven't eaten at the restaurant (I live in Vancouver
and of course am always going to go next week.) but I have a friend who
always takes out of town guests and he says it is good. He's the one who
told me how to save the fare on the Gondola. You just say you're going for
dinner and the check they reservation list and you are home free.
